Studio A
Children's Choir
New Video: Choir 2006
Studio A Children's Choir Is an international award winning singing group which has been performing for over four years in the Utah area and abroad. Children range in age from approximately 4 to 16, both boys and girls.
Beside the fact that the children are very talented singers/ performers, they represent 14 different first and second generation nationalities, and about a dozen religious denominations. Children attending come from Bountiful down to Provo in Utah, from the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming , and from California.
Children are currently being taught in five different locations;
Heritage Music at 971 S, State, Orem Thursday 4:30-5:30
The Pointe Academy, Lindon , Monday 6:30-7:30PM and Tuesday 6:00-7:00 and 7:00-8:00PM
A private home Friday 4:00-5:00 in Salt Lake
Gael also teaches choir at Community of Grace Presbyterian Church, 2000E. Newcastle Dr. Sandy on Wednesday evenings.( The community is welcome)
Wyoming, Wind River Indian Reservation
The children represent extreme cultural diversity, (ie; color, economic, religious, nationality etc), yet have the unusual ability to work together, including parents, and sing as one!
We have recently attracted national and international attention from the folks at 19 Music, ( American Idol Co), and have had many industry professionals contribute original music for our projects. A favorite among all our young singers is Just Imagine, a song written by Kipper- Sting's producer and Mark Cawley- award winning writer from Nashville.
The choir has worked with local greats as well including performances and recording experiences with Kurt Bestor, Sam Cardon, Paul Cardall, Lex DeAzevedo, and Rachel DeAzevedo of PBS show Signing Time, Steven Kapp Perry and Jim Funk.
The Studio A Children touch and amaze every audience they reach and are known as "the choir with a heart". Their own lives are enriched also, as they develop their love of music, self esteem, and cultivate an enlightened respect for those in this world who are different than themselves.
There is something truely wonderous about teaching children from all walks, then watching them join together so powerfully through the common bond of music!
